Founded in 1997, SAR Group is one of Ireland’s leading providers of security services on a nationwide basis.  SAR are a highly motivated, Irish owned security provider with a strong dynamic team and are proud to offer our clients a professional, quality driven and cost effective security service.

SAR operate a 24-hour control room and base from our modern offices at Centrepoint Business Park, Dublin 12.  Our fleet of security vehicles provide supervision, spot checks, provide emergency response, provide property inspection and operate as key holding and opening and closing service to our wide and varied client base.

Over the years we have expanded our business and diversified into other sectors to offer our clients a one-stop Security service.  We have an Technical division and offer cutting edge technology to our clients from CCTV to number plate recognition technology.

Aqcuistion of SAR Group by MCR Group

MCR Group has been one of the largest providers of outsourced staff and services in Ireland and the UK since 1996. The Group has a national network of trained staff providing a range of services to government, commercial, industrial, construction, retail, leisure and residential clients. In response to the markets growing demand for multi service suppliers, as well as providing a full range of Security solutions, we also provide Recruitment, Cleaning and Engineering services. We deliver these services to many market sectors currently employing a workforce of over 2,500 employees.

MCR had been looking for an opportunity to expand into the healthcare market and identified SAR Group, as they were one of the market leaders in healthcare security in Ireland. The SAR acquisition adds a wealth of experience from a contract perspective to the MCR Group, with regard to the healthcare industry. This, coupled with the management and technical expertise of MCR Group, paves the way for an exciting time for the Group going forward.
