Service Description

Description of Services

We currently provide security cover for approximately 145 hours per week.  We supply 3 security officers daily. We also provide a key-holding and alarm response service and an open and close facility.

Security Duties include:

  • Operating the scanning device in the reception area.
  • Logging patrons into the computer system at the reception desk.
  • Managing the Client Flow.

The role of security personnel is to control access and egress to the premises. Clients are ‘checked-in’ by recording their attendance on an Electronic Patient System (EPS).  They are security screened using a static and a hand-held metal detector system. The doors are controlled by way of a control panel in the security office and a hand-held device. Client flow within the security area is controlled including access to the clinics located on the ground, first and fourth floors.
