MCR/SAR Participate in the St. James’s Hospital Crime Prevention Day

July 10, 2019 |

MCR and SAR participated in the St. James’s Hospital Crime Prevention Day held in the concourse of the hospital this week.

The purpose of the Crime Prevention event was to advise visitors, patients and staff of the hospital how to protect themselves against crime while out in public, at work and at home.

As the Security service providers to St. James’s Hospital, we provided tips and tricks for staying safe on campus and out in public, handing out flyers with useful information about staying alert and vigilant to risks we face on a daily basis such as muggings and theft.

We also held a raffle to win a One4All gift voucher on the day, which was very popular and generated lots of traffic to our stand.

The Crime Prevent event coincided with the weekly Food Fayre that takes place just outside the concourse entrance at St. James’s Hospital, which further added to the footfall.

Other exhibitors at the Crime Prevention Day included Bike Register, who facilitate the registration of bikes making chances of recovery greater in the event of a theft, as well as An Garda Síochana.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank St. James’s Hospital for hosting such a worthwhile event and look forward to participating in similar events in future.
